Admissions Requirements
The 2026-2027 application cycle for our program opens on April 30, 2026, and closes on January 15, 2027, for applicants who wish to matriculate with our next cohort on September 7, 2027. Applications must be submitted and verified through the Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) by January 15, 2027.
All admissions requirements must be completed at the time of submission except for pending prerequisite courses and in-progress degrees. Applications submitted with pending prerequisite courses will not be reviewed until all official transcripts, score reports, and supporting documentation are received. Applications with in-progress degrees will be reviewed if all other requirements are met by January 15, 2027, and the anticipated degree completion date is prior to matriculation.
The PA program does not offer advanced placement. Transfer students are not accepted.

I. U.S. Bachelor鈥檚 Degree or Higher
A U.S. bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher must be earned from a regionally accredited college or university. A regionally accredited college or university is an institution that holds active accreditation recognized by the Department of Education through one of the accrediting agencies listed below. All degrees must be conferred prior to matriculation to be eligible for fall enrollment.

If you hold an international degree and are applying to our program, you must obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States to be eligible for admission.
II. Prerequisite Courses
All prerequisite courses must be completed at a regionally accredited college or university. International coursework will not be accepted. Applications may be submitted with pending prerequisite courses; however, they will remain on hold until official transcripts are received. Official transcripts verifying completion must be received by CASPA by January 15, 2027.
All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher. Pass/fail courses are accepted with a pass grade but are not included in CASPA GPAs calculations. Online courses are accepted. Credit requirements include both quarter and semester credits. A single course cannot fulfill multiple prerequisite courses, and repeated courses cannot be used to fulfill additional credit requirements. Prerequisite courses cannot be fulfilled through the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), credit by examination, or certificate courses. If a course title does not clearly match the prerequisite requirement, applicants must submit a course description or syllabus with their application to verify eligibility.
Core Science Courses
Each core science prerequisite course must have been completed in 2019 or later (within 7 years of the current admissions cycle). Introductory science courses accepted; however, upper-level courses are recommended. A lecture component is required. A laboratory component is not required but is strongly recommended.

* Acceptable chemistry courses include general, organic, inorganic, and biochemistry.
** Combination human anatomy and physiology courses are accepted; however, you cannot use the same course to fulfill both requirements (exceptions include 8-credit combination courses).
*** Acceptable microbiology courses include general, medical, or public health microbiology.
General Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) credits may be used to fulfill the Mathematics, Psychology, English Composition, and Statistics prerequisites only. A score of 3 or higher is required. Score reports from the College Board or International Baccalaureate Organization must be sent directly to the program and received by January 15, 2027.

* Acceptable courses include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus.
** Any course without “Composition鈥 or “Writing鈥 in the title must be a writing-intensive course that includes instruction on critical reading and writing, analysis, comprehension, investigation, evaluation, explanation, and/or refutation.
*** Acceptable Sociology or Anthropology courses include only those courses taken within a Sociology or Anthropology department. Alternative courses may be accepted on a case-by-case basis if the college or university that you attended did not have a Sociology or Anthropology department.

IV. GPA Requirements
- Overall GPA (calculated by CASPA): 3.0 or higher
- Biology, Chemistry, Physics (BCP) GPA (calculated by CASPA): 3.2 or higher
- Core science prerequisite GPA* (calculated by CASPA): 3.2 or higher
* The core science prerequisite GPA is a program-specific GPA calculated using all core science prerequisite courses (chemistry, human anatomy, human physiology, and microbiology) completed within the past 7 years (2019 to present). This GPA is separate from the overall science GPA.
CASPA does not update the Overall or BCP GPAs after application submission; however, the core science prerequisite GPA may be updated with additional coursework if official transcripts are received by CASPA by the application deadline.
V. Healthcare Experience
A total of 1,000 paid hours of healthcare experience is required at the time of application submission. Updates to experiences will not be accepted after submission. Paid and volunteer experiences from a single location should be entered separately on CASPA; those marked as both paid and volunteer will not be accepted.

VI. Additional Requirements
- Evaluations: Three (3) required, PA and supervisor preferred
Applicants are expected to demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with the program and our faculty and staff. Applicants who demonstrate unprofessional behavior at any time will not be considered for admission. Clarification regarding your application may be requested via email. If we request clarification of any items on your application, you will have 14 days to respond to our request. If you do not respond via email within 14 days your application will be denied.
Negative evaluations; academic, licensure, and military infractions; misdemeanors; and felonies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to deny any applicant who has a history of any of the above. Additionally, these may prohibit participation in required supervised clinical practice experiences (SCPE), eligibility to take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination, and/or eligibility for state licensure. Due to this, all academic, licensure, and military infractions; misdemeanors; and felonies must be disclosed on CASPA and any supplemental applications. Failure to disclose the above may result in applicant denial, recension of an enrollment offer, or administrative withdrawal from the program. Additionally, programs are required to report an applicant’s failure to disclose this information to the PA Education Association.
VII. Pathway Programs
BSHS/MSMS Pathway
Students enrolled in听性爱视频鈥檚听Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) or Master of Science in Medical Science (MSMS) programs听who听meet听the听admissions requirements听are听guaranteed听an听interview听for the MSPA program.听
Being invited for an interview as a BSHS or MSMS student does not guarantee acceptance into the MSPA Program. If an applicant is accepted after听an听interview, matriculation into the MSPA听program is contingent upon the successful completion of the BSHS or MSMS program at 性爱视频.听
HBCU Alliance
Applicants who received a bachelor’s degree or higher from a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) who meet the admissions requirements are guaranteed an interview for the MSPA program. Preferential interviews through this alliance are capped at 25 interviews per application cycle and are offered on a first come, first served basis based on the date that all admissions requirements are completed (excluding an in-progress degree). Being invited for an interview as an HBCU graduate does not guarantee acceptance into the MSPA Program.
VIII. Applicant Preferences
The factors listed below represent academic indicators, experiences, and characteristics the program looks for when selecting applicants for interviews and admission.
ACADEMIC INDICATORS
- Initial college enrollment after high school at a four-year college or university
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher with a major in biological or biomedical science
- Prerequisite coursework completed at a four-year college or university
- Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) coursework
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (BCP) GPA above the minimum requirement
- Core science prerequisite GPA above the minimum requirement
- Fewer than two course withdrawals on academic transcripts
- Official score report* demonstrating one or more of the following GRE benchmarks:
- Quantitative score 鈮 150
- Verbal score 鈮 152
- Analytical score 鈮 4.0
EXPERIENCES
- Paid healthcare experience in a hospital, urgent care, outpatient clinic, or surgical center
- Continuous leadership or volunteer experience (鈮1 year within the past 7 years)

IX. Admissions Process
- Applicants must apply through the .* Applications verified by the deadline will be reviewed by an Admissions Advisor to confirm that all minimum admissions requirements have been met. Applications that do not meet admissions requirements due at the time of submission will be denied. Applications with requirements that may be completed after submission will be placed on hold until documentation is received. Applications that remain incomplete after the deadline will be denied.
- Applications that meet minimum admissions requirements will undergo additional review based on the program鈥檚 applicant preferences. Competitive applicants will be invited for an interview; however, an interview does not guarantee admission or placement on the waitlist.
- Applicants offered admission will have 14 days to accept the conditional offer and complete the supplemental application, enrollment agreement, and a $1,000 non-refundable deposit applied toward tuition. All other applicants will be notified of their final application status (waitlisted or denied) by April 2027.
- Waitlisted applicants may be offered admission through the second week of classes if a seat becomes available. Those offered admission from the waitlist must complete the supplemental application and enrollment agreement and submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours.

X. Pre-Matriculation Requirements
Once the class is fully seated, information about additional requirements will be provided. These may include the following requirements which must be completed prior to matriculation, unless otherwise noted.
- A physical examination completed by a licensed healthcare provider confirming the student’s ability to perform duties as outlined in the program’s technical standards.
- Proof of current immunization status
- Government-issued photo ID
- Active medical insurance
- Criminal background check
- Drug screen

- Readings and/or assignments
XI. Accessibility and Disability Services
Students seeking reasonable accommodations or support services while enrolled at 性爱视频 can do so through the Student Services Office (SSO). We encourage you to register with SSO as early as possible to allow sufficient time for the approval and notification process.
XII. Student Employment Policy
- Due to the rigorous nature of the program, students are discouraged from working. Didactic and clinical schedules will not be altered for employment.
- Students are not mandated to hold any position of employment in the institution. University or program employment is not a term of acceptance or continuation in the program.
- Students of the program are not employees of the hospitals or clinics and, therefore, work entirely under the preceptor’s supervision. Students are not to substitute for paid clinicians, clerical staff, or other workers at their assigned clinical sites.
